The Infinity Dreams Award

Hello everyone! I'm pleased to tell you that Eve Estelle from Edge of Night nominated me for the Infinity Dreams Award! Eve runs an amazing poetry/writing blog, and you should absolutely check her out. She's quite talented, so huge shout out to Eve!

Moving on with the award,

Firstly, there are a couple rules surrounding this award:

  • Include the Infinity Dreams Award picture in your post
  • Thank the blogger who nominated you
  • Give 11 facts about yourself
  • Answer the 11 questions left to you by your tagger
  • Tag up to 11 bloggers
  • Leave 11 questions for your nominees
11 Things about me:

1. I injured my knee and will no longer be running in the half marathon I was training for :(

2. My knee will be good enough for me to participate in Track and Field though!

3. I bought 13 books last month... oops!

4. I do plan on attending BookCon- let me know if you are, too! ;)

5. I have this obsession with tea. It's a problem.

6. I mostly drink loose tea, although there are a few tea bags I enjoy.

7. My room is filled with Fairy Lights. And I am not using the term "filled" lightly.

8. My weakness is misunderstood characters. (Ex. Draco Malfoy, Luke Castellan, Vidia ((yes the fairy)), and a bunch more.)

9. When it comes to throw pillows, I believe the more the better.

10.  I have a lovely Aloe Vera plant.

11. I am a proud Ravenclaw.

Eve's 11 Questions:

1. Cloudy skies or sunny days?
That depends. Typically, I prefer sunny days. They just make you feel so happy and joyful! But, if it's the middle of summer, and I'm trying to get a run in, I would most definitely take the cloudy day.

2. Favorite flavor of coffee and/or tea?
Right now, I'm obsessed with this loose tea called Sweet Asian Pear. It's heavenly!

3. You're writing a book. What is the name of your main character?
I am writing a book, and her name is Cleo, short for Cleopatra, and she has some serious issues.

4. Do you like photography? What do you like to take pictures of?
I love photography, and I take pictures of nature and books. I have a board of some of my photography on my Pinterest, and you're welcome to check out my Bookstagram

5. Do you rely more on facts and logic or your intuition?
Depends on the situation, I guess? I usually fall back on the facts and logic, but if I have a bad feeling about something, I trust my instinct.

6. What was the last book or movie that you read/watched?

7. Do you prefer to text or call?
I prefer to text, just because if the person can't talk to me at the moment, they'll see my message as soon as they can.

8. If you could add an extra hour to your day or night, which would you choose?
Night. Absolutely night. Who wouldn't want an extra hour of sleep?

9. Next book on your to-be-read list?
Well, I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and after that it depends... if I finish fast enough, I'm reading Shallow Graves by Kali Wallace. If not, I'll be jumping right into Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare!

10. What is one line in a song that you love?
Well, one of my favorite lines is from Bad Blood by Taylor Swift: "Did you think we'd be fine? Still got scars on my back form your knife". I think this line is just so poetic, and it's insinuating her getting "stabbed in the back" without straight out saying it.

11. What is something that makes you smile?
Landing on the mat after successfully clearing the bar. (High Jump) I can't wipe the smile off my face.

My 11 questions for you:

1. How's your Goodreads reading challenge going?

2. What's your least favorite book you read this year?

3. What Hogwarts house are you in?

4. What song have you been listening to the most lately?

5. Favorite ice cream flavor?

6. Are you more of a pastry person or a "real food" person when it comes to breakfast?

7. What do you prefer: coins or paper money?

8. Biggest grammatical pet peeve?

9. What's the longest you've spent in a bookstore?

10. Pen or pencil?

11. What's your most anticipated release of 2016?

So, me being the little antisocial, bad at finding other bloggers person I am, my tag list is kind of small...

  1. LOL. So, I first read this post in the morning when I was super tired and when I read your answer to question #11 I pictured a "bar" as in a counter and possibly alcohol. Now I'm back to comment and totally understand it correctly. Wow.

Anyway, I know exactly the feeling you're talking about! :) It's so great when you do something and it goes smoothly like that. I also love to take pictures of nature - especially the lake that I live near and, of course, gorgeous sunsets. I hadn't thought about taking pictures of books. That's a great idea.

Thank you so much for the kind shoutout, Julia! :) I hope you enjoyed the tag!

    1. Oh geez, yeah, not what I meant! I tend to forget not everyone instantly thinks of high jump when they hear the word, "bar"... oops!

And yes, nature is always a perfect subject. The only down side is when something looks really cool, but you don't have your camera with you.

You're welcome, and thanks for tagging me!
